Electric watercraft are refreshingly low-maintenance, but a little care keeps them fast and reliable for years. Follow this starter routine.
After every ride
Rinse the board or hull with fresh water, especially after saltwater use, and dry the battery contacts. Inspect the jet intake for weed or debris and check the drive for anything caught in the impeller.
Battery and storage care
Store batteries cool and partially charged, avoid leaving them fully drained, and keep the board out of direct sun and freezing temperatures. Periodically check seals and fasteners before a session.
